Returns & Exchanges

All returns must be made within 14 calendar days of invoice date, accompanied with the original invoice and signed blue delivery slip to be eligible for exchange or refund. Items must be returned in their original condition. A restocking fee of 10% will be applied to the following products: Tiles, Massage Bats, Shower and Bath Enclosures. Final Sale items will not be accepted for exchange or refund. We do not accept returns on Granite, QUartz, Marble, Liquid Sealers, Clearance and Adhesives - these products are considered final sale items.

Upon receipt of items, carefully examine each piece of your furniture or home accent to ensure that it is received in good condition. Returns must be made within 7 calendar days of delivery date. We will be happy to receive the furniture or accent piece back for a re-selection on a store credit provided the following:

- If you notice any imperfection or believe your choice is not your preference, please contact your customer service representative to notify them within 7 calendar days from the date of your delivery. Furniture returns will not be facilitated after 7 calendar days of your delivery.

- Merchandise must be accompanied by the original invoice and signed blue delivery slip

- Products must be returned in showroom quality condition and must be in their original packaging with all parts and instruction manuals where applicable. If the item is RTA (ready-to-assembly), the item must be returned un-assembled.

- Restocking fee of 10% will be assessed for approved returns.

Upon receipt of items, carefully examine each lighting piece or fan to ensure it is received in good condition. If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase we would be happy to facilitate returns once the following guidelines are observed:

- Goods must be returned within 7 calendar days from date of delivery

- Lighting and/or fans must be in its original packing along with instructions, manual, and tools supplied (if any)

- Merchandise must be accompanied by the original invoice and signed blue delivery slip

- Lights and fans that have been installed will not be approved for return

Upon receipt of items, carefully examine each appliance to ensure that it is received in good condition. Returns must be made within 14 calendar days of delivery date once the following guidelines are observed:

1. Appliance(s) must be unused, in original packing along with instruction manuals, applicable tools and components supplied.

2. Appliance(s) must be accompanied by the original invoice and signed blue delivery slip

3. Restocking fee of 15% will be applied to approved returns

4. Delivery cost to return the product/appliance is the responsibility of the customer

5. Damaged items will not be accepted for return

6. Damages incurred during shipping/delivery must be reported within 48 hours

7. All products which are returned to Active Home Centre for exchange and/or refund must be processed by the Customer Care Department.

Disclaimers

- All large format tiles must be laid according to the direction of the arrow on the reverse of each tile

- Based on industry standards a minimum grout joint of ⅛” should be used during installation of all tiles

- You or your representative must inspect tiles upon delivery from our warehouse

- A restocking fee of 10% is applicable on return

- Tempered safety glass is stronger than normal glass but it is unbreakable. A scratch to the glass or contact with a hard surface can cause it to break. When it breaks, it shatters into thousands of smaller pieces (the smaller pieces reduce the risk of personal injury)

- During installation tempered glass should not come in direct contact with any hard surface and metal parts or it may shatter. Gaskets must always be used between glass and metal. Do not touch the edges of tempered glass or it will shatter.

Due to the inherent difference found in natural stones, it is necessary for our customers to acknowledge the following:

- These natural stones will have variation in colour

- Customers are required to select the specific slab(s) that meets their requirement

- The Customer Service Representative although assisted did not make the selection for the customer

- If authorization is given for the Customer Service Representative to choose the slab it must be done in writing. The customer also acknowledges that this action automatically waives his or her rights.

- Sealing is stringy recommended for new installation of Granite or Marble

- All kitchen cabinets sold are RTA (ready-to-assemble) and can only be returned in the original packaging and unassembled.

- While our kitchen cabinets undergo pre-treatment for termites directly from our supplier, they can be susceptible to termite infestation if the installation area has not undergone preventative treatment. We strongly recommend before installation, that subterranean termite treatment (not only surface treatment) is conducted by a certified pest control professional. Although you may not see the evidence of termite while conducting a visual surface examination, please note your installer may subsequently open up routes for termites to enter and infect your cabinets after drilling into the walls of the installation area.
